Geoglossum cookeanum
Geoglossaceae
Geoglossum cookeanum is our most common Earthtongue in Sussex and occurs in a wide range of unimproved, low-nitrogen habitats, from the dunes of Camber to the clay soils of the High Weald. Its spores are generally 7-septate from a print and its paraphyses are septate and fairly amorphous.
